Who is responsible for your data

Triperco is built and run by Andrej Ivanov, an individual based in North Macedonia rather than a company, and that person is the data controller for everything described in this policy. "We" and "us" below mean them.

North Macedonia is outside the European Union, and both sets of rules apply rather than one: the national Law on Personal Data Protection, which is written against the GDPR, and the GDPR itself, because this site offers a service to people in the EU. Wherever you live, the rights set out below are the ones you have.

Write to support@triperco.com about anything here — what is held about you, a copy of it, a correction, or a deletion. It goes to the same person, and it is answered.

What needs an account, and what does not

The front page shows live fares from your airport without an account, and the pages explaining how this works, what it costs and why we are independent are open to everybody. Planning a trip and saving one need a free account. This section used to say signing in was optional; it is not any more, and that is the honest statement of it.

The only way to sign in is with Google, and there is no password for us to store. When you do, Google tells us your name, your email address and the address of your profile picture, and nothing else. We do not post anything, we cannot see your contacts or your calendar, and we do not ask Google for anything beyond those three things.

The same button signs you in and, if you do not have an account yet, creates one. Nothing else is collected at that moment — there is no form.

What we collect

What you search: a departure airport, and the description of the trip you type or tap. That description is sent to a third-party language model, which reads it into a small structured summary of the trip — who is going, roughly when, what kind of trip it is — used to search and to order the results. It is cached against the text itself, so the next person describing the same trip does not cost another lookup. When you open a deal and ask for somewhere to stay, something to do or somewhere to eat, that lookup carries the destination and the dates from the flight you opened.

A rough location, taken from your network connection by our hosting provider, used only to guess which airport to put in the "from" field. It is a city-level estimate, we do not store it against you, and you can change the field in one tap.

Your currency choice, stored in a cookie on your own device so the prices stay in the currency you picked.

Your IP address, while a described search is being counted. It is used to stop one machine running thousands of paid lookups, is held only as a counter that expires after a day, and is never attached to your account or to what you searched for.

Cookies, and the three we set

There are no advertising cookies here, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics. Nothing on this site follows you to another one. The three we do set are all necessary for it to work, which is why there is no consent banner asking you to accept them.

A sign-in cookie, once you have an account, which is how your browser stays signed in. It is readable only by the server, is sent only to this site, and lasts thirty days from your last visit.

A currency cookie, holding the currency you picked, for a year.

A device cookie: a random identifier with no name, email or account attached to it. Nothing is currently counted against it — it exists so that a browser already has one if we ever need to tell devices apart, for example to give a signed-in plan its own allowance. It lasts a year and tells us nothing about you.

How long we keep it

Your account and your saved trips are kept until you delete them — deleting your account removes both in the same moment, permanently. Sign-in sessions expire thirty days after your last visit and are deleted when you sign out.

The search counters keyed to an IP address expire after a day. Cached search results are keyed to the search itself rather than to a person, and expire on their own.

Your rights

You can see everything we hold about you on your profile page and in My trips — that is the whole of it. You can correct your name, email or picture by changing them at Google, since that is where they come from, and they update here the next time you sign in.

You can delete your account and everything saved to it yourself, at any time, from your profile page. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@triperco.com — we will answer honestly.

We rely on your consent for the account itself, which you withdraw by deleting it, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and affordable for the search counters described above.

If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will put it right. You can also complain to the Agency for Personal Data Protection in North Macedonia (azlp.mk), which supervises us — or, if you live in the EU or the UK, to the data protection authority in your own country, which you are entitled to do even though we are not established there.

Your saved trips

Once you are signed in, every trip you save — the flight, the accommodation, the things to do, the notes about what you have booked — is stored on our servers against your account, which is what lets it follow you to a new phone. It is not visible to anyone else and we do not sell it, share it or use it for advertising.

If you had saved trips on a device before accounts existed, they are moved into your account the first time you sign in, and removed from the browser once they are safely across.

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your profile page — reached from the picture at the top of the menu in the top right. It takes your account and every trip saved to it in the same moment and for good, without anyone at Triperco being involved. If you would rather we did it, write to support@triperco.com and we will.

A trip you share as a link carries the trip inside the part of a web address that browsers do not send to servers, so the link works without us ever receiving what is in it — signed in or not. It does mean anyone you send that link to can open the trip, so treat it as public once it leaves your hands.

A trip you save as a PDF is written by your own browser on your own device and is not uploaded anywhere.

What not to type

Do not put passport numbers, payment card details, passwords or other sensitive personal information into any search field. Triperco never needs them — you enter payment details on the provider’s own site, never here.

Payments, if there are ever any

There is nothing to pay for on this site today, no card is taken anywhere on it, and no payment processor is involved in anything described above. This section is here so that what would happen is written down in advance rather than added the week it starts.

If a subscription is introduced it would be sold and billed by AgentaOS as the merchant of record. Your card details would be entered on their checkout and handled by them and their payment partners — they never reach us, we never store them, and there is no arrangement in which we could. They would hold what a seller has to hold to take a payment and issue an invoice: your name, your email address, your billing country and the record of the transaction. Their privacy policy would apply to that, alongside this one, and both would be linked at checkout.

What we would receive back is the fact of a subscription against your account — that it is active, which plan, and when the next period starts. Not your card number, and not the details behind it.

None of it would change what is in the rest of this policy. There is no advertising, no profiling and no selling of anything about you, before or after a payment.

Who else sees your search

Search terms are sent to the data providers that answer them — Google’s flight, hotel, place and routing data, and Airbnb listings and experiences data, all reached through our search provider. They see the query: an airport, a city, dates, two points on a map. They do not see who asked it.

When you open a deal or a booking link you leave for the provider’s own site, and from that point their privacy policy applies rather than ours. The same is true of a link into Google Maps.
